Woman Collides With Troopers With Kids In Her Truck

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police arrested a 31-year-old Ironton woman after she led police on a chase Friday and struck three squad cars while three children – ages 2, 3 and 7 -- were passengers in her truck.

The State Patrol said Rebecca Lueck, who was driving a 2010 GMC Sierra, fled a squad car after it tried to pull her over for speeding near the intersection of southbound Highway 10 and County Road 33 near St. Cloud.

Lueck eluded officers and drove south to Clear Lake, where officers placed stop sticks to deflate her tires.

Near Clear Lake, two squad cars attempted blocking maneuvers on Lueck, but she broke through each, inflicting minor damage on the first car and moderate damage on the second. A third squad car attempted a pin maneuver and sustained minor damage, the State Patrol said.

Authorities stopped Lueck in Clear Lake, and no one suffered injuries during the incident, the State Patrol said.

Lueck is currently in the Benton County Jail. She is not cooperating, authorities said.
