3 MN Hospitals Ranked Among Best In U.S.

ROBBINSDALE, Minn. (WCCO) -- A list of America's top 100 hospitals is out today and Minnesota is home to three of them, including North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale.

North Memorial, which is listed as one of the top 50 hospitals, made the list by HealthGrades for receiving the "Distinguished Hospital Award for Clinical Excellence" for the most consecutive years.

It was rated in the top five percent of the nation's hospitals.

Other Minnesota hospitals on the list include Fairview Southdale in Edina and St. Luke's Hospital in Duluth, which are both in the top 100.

Nearby in neighboring Wisconsin, Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse and Eau Claire also made the list.
