    This guys an idiot.

    • Death

He’s a US Senator, so, what does that make U LMAO!

      • Kevin

what does it say for the people of Minnesota who elected him? He is an idiot!

    • Ross Perot

He may be one of the most capitalistic ignorant morons of all time.

  • Ordinary Guy

Shift to a tiny market transaction tax from the speculators’ profit tax, and this would make the markets less volatile and safer for Mom and Pop investments.

    • Ross Perot

So your answer is government and more government. We’re looking like communism more and more every day. 90% of the people who use the futures markets in businesses whose trades are directly tied to the cost of fuel; i.e. airlines, shipping, (sea and land), large manufacturers who use petrochemicals in the production process and many more. This is so they can lock in their costs and have a reasonable estimate of what they can sell their product for.. The easy and ignorant response is speculators and you don’t have a clue who is using the futures

  • Corey

Gas prices remain high because the dollar is worthless. Fix that problem and gas will be cheap again.

  • Carl

When the price of oil and gas go up, people conserve more.

    Isn’t that a good thing?

Aside from his ability to steal a senate seat, Al is an incompetent boob.
