ST. LOUIS PARK, Minn. (WCCO) – A 24-year-old man from St. Louis Park was arrested Wednesday after handguns and marijuana were seized from his residence, according to police.

With the assistance of the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office, the Southwest Hennepin Drug Task Force executed a search warrant on the 2700 block of Jersey Avenue South on Wednesday. Investigators there recovered 18 pounds of marijuana, two handguns and a ballistic vest at the scene.

Frederik Marshall Anderson was promptly arrested and charged for fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance and committing a crime while wearing or possessing a ballistic vest. He was also charged for being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm. Anderson has a previous conviction for third-degree riot.

The case is still under investigation at this time.
