North Mankato Family Wins $2.99M Hot Lotto Jackpot

ROSEVILLE, Minn. (AP) — Three members of a North Mankato family have claimed a Hot Lotto jackpot worth nearly $3 million.

Lottery officials say Thomas Browne, his son Lee Browne and his daughter Elaine Pleiss presented the winning ticket Thursday.

Thomas Browne says he heard on the radio that the winning Hot Lotto jackpot ticket for March 14 was sold in Nicollet County. He checked his ticket and discovered it matched the winning numbers 1-6-13-25-27 and the Hot Ball of 15 to win a jackpot of $2.99 million.

The cash option is $2.21 million before tax withholding.

Officials say it’s Minnesota’s 10th Hot Lotto jackpot winner. It comes two months after Don Conrad of Grand Rapids won a $2.61 million jackpot on Jan. 14.

Can’t share this info via simple email, must Tweet or other???? What’s up with limiting the options for sharing anyway?? Makes no sense, it seems the more options the better for best informing and exposure? I refuse to cater to such manipulation and would hope others see the light….

Hope you got some sleep last night, you were crabby. Doesn’t seem like a big deal to me. Just cut and paste the web address in your browser if you want to share it. Takes me 3 seconds to do that, when i want to send something.

If you put your mouse on the orange ‘Share’ button, a list of options pop up that allow you to share the news story. One of the first ones is to email. Hope this helps!
