Ron Paul To Campaign In Madison

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Republican presidential candidate U.S. Rep. Ron Paul of Texas plans to campaign in Madison next week.

Paul's campaign said Friday that he would hold a town hall meeting Thursday on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus.

His visit comes after former U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania planned to travel all across Wisconsin over the weekend. Front-runner Mitt Romney, the former governor of Massachusetts, planned to make his first appearance on March 31 in Milwaukee.

Former Speaker Newt Gingrich has yet to schedule any Wisconsin visits.

The presidential primary is April 3.
