    WOW! I take back my initial misgivings about this site. However, there is one glaring mistake[s] I see from the renderings. Where is[are] the tailgating lot[s] or park[s] for the pre- and/or post-game tailgating activities? Tailgating definitely adds to the festivities at the facilities. Also, it’s a Minnesota tradition that has blatantly been ignored.

    1. Richard in Minneapolis says:

      Tailgating parties will be held in specially designated light rail trams.

    Architecturally speaking, it is quite ugly.
    The saucer roof looks like the top of a tin can. I am disappointed in their safe, functional design. Now is our chance to really make a statement for the next few decades.

    1. Big Bob says:

      Yes, I think a giant gold-plated statue of the MN pro athlete should be placed on top of the place. It’s who we are worshiping, why not immortalize so we can all gaze upon it for the next few decades.

      Nails;
      I agree with you about the architecture and all; but, what do you expect from the BS over the last 12 years this stadium has gone through? It’s basically a low bid, plain Jane project now being nickel’d-&-dime’d to death in the Legislative process before a working piece of legislation can be passed. Also, no one or no group has had the vision of a long-lasting public edifice that would be useful for decades to come.

      You just have to settle for a Plain Jane boiler plate venue edifice that will be torn down and rebuilt. For that is the Minnesota way of doing things.

      Nails, you and I will be dead and buried before anybody in this state thinks about making a statement for future generations to come with great architectural public works projects. That’s unfortunate for we have a great chance to make a statement without going bankrupt in the process.
