MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Apple’s new iPad is having perhaps the strongest launch yet, with 3 million sold right off the bat.

Peter Vossler, with Best Buy, says there are plenty of new features that Apple fans really love.

One of the biggest new features is that is can work on a 4G signal.

The new and improved screen is also driving sales. Vossler showed off some ultra-high definition video he downloaded from NASA, to better show off the screen resolution.

Vossler said there are a million more pixels on the new iPad screen than there are on your HDTV at home. There isn’t any hand held device in the world with more pixels, Vossler said.

The camera that comes with the new iPad can also take video in 1080p resolution.

The iOS 5 operating system has the most apps as well, Vossler said, showing off an app that takes dictation from spoken word.

It can do this all with the same battery life as the iPad before it. Apple says it’ll last 10 hours.

Best Buy as the only source again! Why not go to Apple as well and maybe another source. Poorly researched and written and not much help for anyone.

Because apple would probably not agree to WCCO coming in and doing a Q/A. Best buy is also recognized by consumers as a knowledgeable tech source. And what else is there really to know about the new IPAD? It has a better screen and a better camera and faster processor. Its pretty much common knowledge. You could go to a small tech store and get the exact same information.

Fantastic points altogether, you just gained a new reader. What could you suggest in regards to your put up that you simply made a few days ago? Any positive?
