Victim ID'd In Wisconsin Fatal Motorcyle Accident

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities say a 26-year-old man from Osceola, Wis., died in a motorcycle accident on Tuesday near Dresser, Wis., according to the Polk County Sheriff's Office.

The victim was identified as Ryan Lorentz. Authorities said he was operating a motorcycle when it was hit by a 78-year-old man from White Bear Lake who was driving a pick-up truck. Authorities said the preliminary investigation shows that Lorentz was traveling southbound when he crossed the center line and hit the pick-up truck.

The Polk County Sheriff's Office said the collision happened in the northbound lane of traffic. The crash is still under investigation at this time.
