1 Of Klobuchar's GOP Foes Says He Raised $160K

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Republican Pete Hegseth says he has raised $160,000 in the month since announcing he was running for the Senate seat now held by Democrat Amy Klobuchar.

Hegseth's campaign said Monday it would report having $130,000 in the bank when it files its initial report with federal campaign regulators this week. The first-time candidate is one of a few Republicans competing to face Klobuchar in the fall.

State Rep. Kurt Bills and former state Rep. Dan Severson are also in the running. Neither has reported fundraising figures covering January through March. Those reports are due over the weekend.

Klobuchar, a first-termer, entered the year with more than $4.6 million in the bank.
