Police: Suspect In CVS Armed Robbery Located

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Police say they've located a suspect in connection with the armed robbery at a CVS Pharmacy, after asking for the public's help about two weeks ago.

Officers responded to the CVS Pharmacy at 3655 Central Ave. NE on a robbery of a business call. Upon arrival, officers learned that a man entered the building, asked for assistance in locating an item and then displayed a large knife and demanded money.

The man then fled the scene in a mid-1990s black Ford Ranger pickup with an extended cab, with a small white dog inside (possibly a pit bull or terrier). He was described as a white man, 40 to 50 years old, 6-feet-tall with a medium build. He had black and gray hair and was unshaven.

He was last seen wearing a black wool cap, gray hooded sweatshirt with a small Nike logo on the front and baggy blue jeans.

Police say the suspect has been located but haven't said if he's been arrested or the details of his location.
