'Grinding' Prompts Wis. Schools To Require Code

WAUSAU, Wis. (WCCO/AP) -- Prom is one of those nights where parents ask their teens to act responsibly.

Now, some Wisconsin schools are requiring students to sign a code of conduct that they will dance "appropriately" at prom, according to the Wausau Daily Herald.

The newspaper reports some schools are taking it a step further, requiring their parents to also sign the form.

Schools say it's a result of the increase in sexually suggestive dancing and grinding.

Some students are actually on board with the contract, saying it's a good idea because students then know what is expected.
