MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities in Todd County are investigating a high school hazing ritual they describe as having multiple victims and possibly being sexual in nature.
Todd County Sheriff Peter Mikkelson said police first heard of a possible hazing incident at Browerville High School on April 11.
An initial investigation revealed the possibility of many victims — and many suspects — within the school’s boy’s athletic program.
A thorough investigation is being conducted, Mikkelson said. The allegations involve physical contact that could be considered sexual.
No other information will be released until a press conference on May 1 at the Main Street Government Center in Long Prairie, Minn.
