FOND DU LAC, Wis. (WCCO) – Dozens of animals have been removed from a Wisconsin woman’s home.

Police say they removed 33 cats, five dogs, and four birds from the home in Fond du Lac.

The Humane Society says the woman wanted to help the animals but became overwhelmed.

Police say the animals were in good condition and they’re not seeking criminal charges.

The woman was cited for failing to license the dogs and for having too many animals in a home.
