MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – There is never a lack of opportunities to go green these days, but this weekend should provide anyone with a few new ideas.

The 2012 Living Green Expo runs May 5 and 6 at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds.

Among the expo’s highlights include a bike fashion show, a Surly beer garden, an art exhibit, and a look at building homes for LEED, Green Path or GreenStar certification with former WCCO-TV anchor Don Shelby.

Also, Metro Transit is offering free rides to the Living Green Expo.
