MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – One in eight women in the U.S. is diagnosed with breast cancer, but the disease affects many more people.

In an effort to help fund breast cancer research, an Eagan tattoo shop hosted an event Saturday called “Tattoos for TaTas.”

Joe Christensen, an artist at Rockin’ Tattoos, said all the event’s proceeds will go to the Susan G. Komen’s “Breast Foot Forward.”

Two brothers — Nic and Josh Lunde – got pink ribbon tattoos at the event. They said the tattoos were inspired by their mother.

Photojournalist Aaron Goodyear captured the event.
