At 1 p.m., the inmate was found unresponsive in her cell. Deputies immediately began CPR, paramedics continued treatment and transported her to the Hennepin County Medical Center, where she was later pronounced dead.
The Sheriff’s Office says the woman had been in jail for approximately one month. She was arrested by Bloomington Police on a charge of aggravated robbery.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this difficult time,” said Chief Deputy Mike Carlson.
