MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The Twin Cities metro area has been called one of the most bicycle-friendly areas in the country, but you might see even more cyclists than usual today.

Wednesday marks “National Bike to School Day.”

Hundreds of students and teachers from elementary and middle schools around the metro will be rolling into school.

However, if you don’t want to ride a bike, you are still welcome to walk instead.
