ST. CLOUD, Minn. (WCCO) – Authorities in Stearns County are seeking the public’s help to solve a series of boat and pontoon thefts.

Police say it appears that a thief or thieves have been driving up to boats and pontoons tied up to docks on Watab Lake and Rassier Lake. Both are located in St. Wendel Township.

Police think the thefts must have been carried out from someone approaching the targets from the water.

Gas cans and batteries were stolen from the boats and pontoons.
