MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The University of St. Thomas has extended its broadcast agreement with WCCO NewsRadio 830 through the 2012-2013 season. WCCO-AM’s Dave Lee will continue to provide play-by-play for the Tommies, and Eric Nelson will do color commentary.

“We are pleased to extend our broadcast agreement with St. Thomas, and to continue the tradition of broadcasting an expansive and enhanced experience to college football fans here in Minnesota,” said WCCO Radio Senior Vice President/Market Manager Mick Anselmo.

In 2011, WCCO-AM entered into an agreement to broadcast Tommie games.

The Tommies are the reigning MIAC regular season football champions, since 2010.

WCCO-AM will air the first game of the 2012 Tommie season on Sept. 1.
