MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Twenty of Minneapolis’ popular wading pools will be open for Memorial Day weekend, two weeks ahead of time.
The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board have scheduled the pools to open on Saturday. Recent high temperatures prompted the speedy start date.
Wading pools are open daily through Labor Day and are free to use. There are no lifeguards on duty, so parents and children are advised to have fun while keeping safety in mind.
