MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — The Essig Ballpark may need to restock beer for the holiday weekend as thieves broke into the concession stand on Thursday night, stealing eight to 18 packs of Schell’s beer, police said.

Brown County Sheriff’s Office said the burglars pried open one of the concession stand’s sliding windows in the town located just outside of New Ulm.

Authorities said evidence was collected from the scene and it will be taken to the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension in St. Paul for processing.
