Health Watch: Milk-Based Vs. Soy-Based Baby Formulas

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — When it comes to baby formulas, milk-based choices may not be the only healthy options. In Health Watch, researchers say baby formulas made with soy are just as good.

A study in the journal “Pediatrics” looked at how babies developed over their first year of life. In the study, researchers compared children receiving milk- or soy-based formulas.

They found no differences in the kids’ mental, motor or language skills.
