MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Each year, the Minnesota Vikings choose a school, build a playground for the institution and even experience a bit of team bonding as a result.
This year, the Vikings were in Minneapolis at Sheridan Arts Magnet School to lend a helping hand.
Adrian Peterson, Christian Ponder and the other men in purple came together for a common cause.
“I was just talking to someone who said there was nothing here at 8 a.m. this morning,” said Vikings offensive tackle Phil Loadholt. “It’s pretty amazing – the whole thing. I’m sure the kids are going to love it.”
