Minn. Ag Dept.: Dairy Recalling Whipping Cream

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — The Minnesota Department of Agriculture is advising consumers to avoid a specific whipping-cream product after routine sampling found that it hadn't been properly pasteurized.

The product is heavy whipping cream that has a sell-by date of June 17.

The agriculture department says the Solway-based dairy is voluntarily recalling the product. No illnesses have been linked to the product.

Blackstar produced about 400 pints of the product in question. Customers who have it should return it to the store where they bought it.
