MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — If you ever had the chance to listen to Dark Star’s radio show on a consistent basis, you knew to expect the unexpected.

While he wasn’t everybody’s “cup of tea,” Dark’s unpredictability was what endured him to so many listeners.

It’s one of the reasons why so many of his former coworkers here at WCCO Radio have felt a little empty since his passing last week. But thankfully he left us with so many moments to remember, both when the microphones were on and off.

Here is just one of those moments, fortunately captured on camera way back on May 23, 1992.

A wedding on the radio, as only “The Darkman” could do it. As he would say, “Oh my! The wonder of it all!”
