Get Ready For More Heat & Humidity

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – After near-record breaking heat on Saturday, Sunday will take the cake in terms of humidity.

According to WCCO meteorologist Lauren Casey, we were 15 degrees above average on Saturday. The high of 92 degrees was just three degrees shy of the record, set in 1976.

Even though we may not match Saturday's high, Sunday will still be in the high 80s with staggering humidity.

Clouds will increase by the afternoon, and a chance of severe storms is possible for the evening.

When the storms pass, a strong cold front is on the way for Monday, with temps in the low 60s by Tuesday.
