MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – There are people growing more concerned that the Vikings new stadium works for baseball, and that it could become a tough point of contention in the overall cost.

There are people trying to see if they can buy out the Wild’s second biggest part of the ownership group, Phil Falcone, with the idea of one day becoming the primary ownership group.

People in Tampa tell me they expect a bright future for T.J.Brown, signed from the University of Minnesota-Duluth, and impressive this spring for the Lightning.

Former Gopher Sam Loftquist will return to play another season in Sweden.

Not only is Zach Parise going to hit the jackpot this summer on a free agent contract, he’s getting married to his college sweetheart in July.

E.J. Henderson is still waiting for an offer to play for a team, and he shut down his workout facility in Eden Prairie.

Look for Denny Green to return to broadcasting for NFL Network this fall.

Concordia tackle Tyler Hendrickson had a tryout with the Vikings and the Chicago Bears.

Former Gopher and Timberwolf John Thomas is back in town after a successful season in Israel.

The word is ticket demand was down for the Twins-Cubs weekend series, even worse for Philadelphia next week.

And now that Jeff Manship is up with the Twins, it makes him another Notre Dame alum in Minnesota, joining several Vikings, including first round pick Harrison Smith.

“That’s good news. We’re just adding more and more. That’s great news,” said Smith.
