ELY, Minn. (WCCO) — Authorities are investigating the death of a 50-year-old St. Louis County man who was found dead in the water late Friday near his cabin in Ely, Minn.

The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office said Daniel Frank Scufsa had been seen late Thursday evening before his body was discovered on Friday.

While police say nothing about his death is considered suspicious, they will wait for autopsy results before concluding the investigation.
