MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — The 55-year-old man still missing in Lake Pepin has been identified.

Authorities say Troy Goehrs, of Bay City, Wis. fell overboard while boating in Lake Pepin on Sunday evening. His wife, Brenda Goehrs, called police after swimming to shore and walking to a nearby residence.

The search for Goehrs is ongoing. Officers from the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department are using boats and sonar equipment to check the area. Boats and all-terrain vehicles are also being used to search the shoreline.

Several agencies are assisting in the search, including sheriff’s deputies from Goodhue, Dakota and Washington counties in Minnesota and Wisconsin DNR wardens from several counties.
