MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) - The reason the debate will linger on regarding the new football stadium being conducive for baseball is that it will require removable seats – and that’s expensive

Mike Tice’s son Nate, who played college at Wisconsin and high school at Edina, has joined the Pittsburgh College staff as a graduate assistant.

Jordan Taylor and Royce White working out together for the wolves may have made Minnesota basketball history. It was the first time two former Mr. Basketballs worked out for an NBA team together.

“Yeah, it’s definitely fun. Royce is my guy. It’s fun playing with him again. It’s been a while, so it shall be fun to be out there again with him,” said Taylor.

For White, it was his fourth workout. The first two were more nerve racking.

“My first one I was definitely out of sorts. Pat Riley was sitting courtside, and Tim Hardaway, so I was definitely out of sorts at that one. But as I went along it got better, cuz at the next one it was Larry Bird…it didn’t get any better from that standpoint, so I just kinda got used to it,” said Royce.

The one thing Chuck Fletcher knows for sure about next week’s NHL Draft is they won’t be taking a goaltender.

“It’s a pretty well-rounded draft, and there’s a couple top goalies. But again, I don’t think that’s the way we’ll go this year with our goaltending depth. But clearly there’s some position players that can help our franchise,” said Fletcher.

And former Vikings Tony Richardson still keeps a home in Minnesota. He has since rented it to Brett Favre, offensive line Coach Chuck Davidson, and just acquired cornerback Cris Carr.

“Yeah, I’m living there. I’m not giving the address, but I’m living there. It’s a nice house…Tony was a good player himself, and coach Davidson was there prior to myself, so it’s a nice place, and it’s close to [Winter Park],” said Carr.
