Motorcyclist In Critical Condition After Friday Crash

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A 53-year-old North St. Paul motorcyclist has a severed left leg and is in critical condition at Hennepin County Medical Center after running a red light Friday afternoon and hitting a truck in Roseville, police said.

The Roseville Police Department and the State Patrol are investigating the accident that left the motorcyclist with a fractured arm and facial injuries at the intersection of County Road C and Prior Avenue. The driver of the truck is cooperating with police and didn't suffer any injuries.

Police reports say the cause could be speed or failure to yield.
