ST. CLOUD, Minn. (WCCO) — A man is in jail accused of threatening two people in a St. Cloud library Sunday, according to police.
St. Cloud Police say officers were dispatched at 11:26 p.m. to a threats complaint at the library, located at 1300 West St. Germain Street.
There, officers met with a 32-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman who said they were threatened at knife point by a man identified as Jay Eric Peterson. Both victims were unharmed.
Later, Peteson was located underneath the Granite City Bridge and taken into custody.
He is being held at the Stearns County Jail on the charges of second-degree assault and making terroristic threats.
