ST. PAUL (WCCO) — A water advisory has been canceled in West St. Paul, which allows residents to once again drink the tap water.
Electrical outages during Tuesday night’s storm caused low pressure at the West St. Paul pump station at Bidwell Street and Logan Avenue. Officials say as of 10 a.m. Wednesday, the drinking water advisory has been canceled.
With low — or no — water pressure, authorities were concerned that it would be easier for harmful bacteria to enter the water system.
