MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Motorists in the west and east Twin Cities metro are in for major headaches on the highways this weekend.

Westbound Highway 62 will be closed for resurfacing starting at 10 p.m. Friday and won’t reopen until 5 a.m. Monday through Edina, Richfield and Minneapolis. The stretch is between I-35W and Highway 169.

Both directions of Highway 110 in Mendota will be closed at Highway 13 from 10 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday for concrete pavement rehabilitation.
