Police: 2 Injured In Minneapolis Shooting Overnight

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police say two people suffered minor injuries after a shooting in Minneapolis early Friday morning.

The incident happened at about 4 a.m. near the intersection of 4th Street North and 36th Avenue. Authorities say a man getting into the driver's side of a car was shot in the leg. He suffered minor injuries and was taken to a hospital.

Police said a car pulled up to another vehicle and fired at least nine or 10 shots, hitting the man in the leg once.

Authorities later learned a second victim walked into North Memorial Hospital Friday morning with a non-life threatening gunshot wound. Police have no suspects in custody and aren't saying what led up to the incident.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Minneapolis Police.
