MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – An adult woman was found lying dead in a downtown Minneapolis parking ramp on Saturday night.

Minneapolis Police Sgt. Stephen McCarty confirmed that a call came in around 9:11 p.m. Saturday night of a suspicious death, possibly a stabbing, at the Downtown Auto Park ramp on LaSalle Avenue.

McCarty said he believes a security guard found the victim, who died at the scene. He said he doesn’t believe this is a random act. Homicide investigators are looking into the details.

The ramp is closed and is being treated as a crime scene. Police have no leads at this point.
