MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — It’s going to be a steamy hot weekend in the Twin Cities, and that means it’s time for you to cut loose and have some fun.
Natalie Kane has rounded up some events for you to add to your social calendar.
- Mears Park in St. Paul will be filled with the sultry sounds of jazz this weekend. The Twin Cities Jazz Festival will have two stages with musicians performing. Concerts are free and start Thursday night through Saturday.
- There’s a new farmers market coming to St. Paul right by the State Capitol. Thirty vendors will set up shop every Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. starting on Friday. The State Capitol Farmers Market will be located along Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard directly south of the State Capitol.
- Pet-A-Palooza is Saturday at the state fairgrounds. Bring your pet, check out exhibitors, play in the kids’ area and listen to live music from musicians like Rock Camp for Dads and Tim Mahoney. The fun starts at 10 a.m. and wraps up at 5 p.m. Parking is free.
