MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A 26-year-old Coon Rapids man was struck by a car and dragged about 50 feet, police say.
According to the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office, at about 5 a.m. Saturday, the man was hit on the 11400 Block of Xavis Street NW.
The victim was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center with multiple serious injuries, but none appear to be life threatening, police say. He was listed in satisfactory condition.
Police believe alcohol is a factor in the crash and though the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office has impounded a vehicle believed to be involved in the crash, no one is in custody.
The victim’s name was not released.
