MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Authorities have found the man who had been missing in the St. Croix River since earlier this week.

The Pierce County Sheriff’s Department found 65-year-old Merriett Maul, of Welch, Minn., near the Railroad Life Bridge on the St. Croix River at 8:55 p.m. Friday.

Maul was pronounced dead at the scene and police say there is no foul play suspected in the investigation.
