MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — If you’re mad about neighbors lighting illegal explosive fireworks in the city of Minneapolis, do not call 911.

On July 4, authorities say 911 complaints about fireworks keeps real emergencies from getting help.

Fireworks violations should be directed to an online form – click here to visit it.

As for fireworks-related fires or injuries, they should be reported to 911.
