MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Stearns County authorities are looking for a man with a Superman T-shirt after a girl said Monday that a man wearing such a shirt tried to abduct her.
The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office said a 10-year-old girl who lives in St. Wendel Township, located about two miles north of St. Joseph, reported that a man approached her while she was sweeping her home’s driveway, located on Pamela Lane.
She said the man grabbed her wrist and told her to get into his car. But she broke away and ran inside her home.
The girl described the man as being about 6-feet-tall, 180 pounds and having brown hair. He wore a blue T-shirt with a red Superman symbol on the front, black pants and white shoes with black laces. He appeared to be in his 30s.
The girl also described the man’s car as being a blue Chevy Lumina or Caprice.
If you have any information on the alleged abduction, call police at 320-251-4240 or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
