Twins Send Down RHP Hendriks, Call Up RHP De Vries

DETROIT (AP) — The Minnesota Twins optioned right-hander Liam Hendriks to Triple-A Rochester on Tuesday and recalled right-hander Cole De Vries.

Hendriks was 0-5 with a 7.04 ERA in eight starts, allowing 57 hits in 38 1-3 innings. On Monday, he allowed four runs on six hits and four walks in four innings of Minnesota's 6-4 victory over the Tigers.

De Vries made four starts earlier this season for the Twins, going 2-1 with a 3.43 ERA.
