ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) – Authorities say two people have been injured after a car rolled over and went down an embankment in St. Paul Wednesday morning.
Police responded to the accident around 4:40 a.m. near Magoffin Avenue and Mississippi River Boulevard in St. Paul, which is close the Ford manufacturing plant. Authorities said a vehicle rolled over and went about 30 to 40 feet down an embankment before it came to rest by some trees near the Mississippi River.
Emergency crews at the scene had to cut the roof off the vehicle to rescue two people who were trapped inside. They were both transported to the hospital, and there is no word on their condition at this time.
Police are investigating the accident, including whether alcohol might have been a factor.
