MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – First on Zach Parisse’s off-season agenda is to start skating on an Olympic sheet of ice to increase his speed.

Make no mistake that Timberwolves coach Rick Adelman is putting this team together in the off-season.

Former Vikings owner Red McCombs is now involved in owning an auto race track near Austin, Texas.

Former Twin and Rochester native Michael Restovich has retired from baseball and is living in St. Louis and is planning on going to law school.

Adam Weber has a new quarterback teammate in Denver’s Peyton Manning.

“It’s been a change. He’s really come in, and by just being himself he’s kind of revamping the entire building because he’s such an iconic figure,” said Weber. “He demands a lot, and he’s the leader of the whole entire team. So I think we’re all excited to have him.”

Becker won the upper Midwest football seven on seven football championship held at Winter Park. Coached by veteran varsity coach Dwight Lundeen, they will represent the Vikings next week in a national tournament.

“What we do is, we like to get a large pool of teams from the upper Midwest, and then throughout the play of the individual teams – let them decide who will represent the Minnesota Vikings at the national tournament in July,” said Lundeen.

Trevor Plouffe says part of the reason for his new found power is what he drinks.

“Coconut water’s been my thing lately. It’s got a lot of potassium. It tastes pretty good, so I’m all about it,” said Plouffe.

And Gopher wrestling Coach J. Robinson uses his grandson Wyatt for a creative way to promote his annual wrestling camps. Watch the video above near the end to see what I mean!
