BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. (WCCO) – Police in Brooklyn Park are looking for a man who was caught on surveillance video robbing a bank in Brooklyn Park.

The robbery happened at the Guaranty Bank inside a Rainbow Foods grocery store on the 8000 block of Brooklyn Boulevard at about 10:30 a.m. Monday.

A black male in an orange baseball cap approached the teller and gestured as though he was carrying a weapon. Though no weapon was actually displayed, the teller gave the robber an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police said the robber was about 5 feet, 6 inches tall and was also wearing purple rubber gloves. He was believed to have headed toward the Brooklyn Park Evangelical Free Church after the robbery.
