MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Don’t be surprised if you find someone asking you to downward dog in the elevators this Tuesday morning.
For months now, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota have been running commercials as part of their “Stop Making Excuses” campaign.
The commercials feature actors singing modified lines from the song “Tomorrow” from the musical show “Annie” (“I’ll start taking the stairs, tomorrow!”).
On Tuesday, when you go to get on the elevator in downtown Minneapolis, you may be invited to dance, do yoga, curl briefcases or take the stairs.
According to the group, 66 percent of Minnesotans have sedentary jobs and 61 percent are overweight or obese.
