MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Paul Rode, the man who started raising money for the River Falls, Wis., tragedy on Wednesday in a Hudson parking lot, has collected more than $30,000.
The mayor of Hudson, Wis., turned the money into the family’s fund.
“People need to heal and I know it’s just money, but it’s helping people heal,” Rode said.
Said one woman who donated: “This woman needs to bury 3 children. It’s just horrid and I wanted to do something for her specifically.”
