MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an apparent arson that destroyed a wooden bridge over the Pike River Thursday near Virginia, Minn.
The fire started shortly before 2:30 p.m. in Pike Township, which is some 15 miles northeast of Virginia, Minn.
Officers who investigated the fire found traces of an accelerant its origin, authorities said.
The incident is under investigation.
