Man Found Guilty In Clinton Ave. Fatal Shooting
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A 28-year-old man has been found guilty of second-degree murder in connection to the Jan. 21 death of Stanley Curtis Rogers.
Investigators say shortly before 10 p.m. on Jan. 21, officers responded to a report of shots fired near 36th Street East and Clinton Avenue South.
When officers arrived, Rogers was found inside a vehicle with at least one gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead, which was determined to be the result of a homicide by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office.
Ladell James Antone Johnson was arrested along with two other teens.
On Wednesday, Johnson was found guilty of the murder charge.
Johnson's sentencing is scheduled for Aug. 29, 2012.
